ITINERARY: departure from Catania on board of our jeep/suv. From the slope of the volcano till 2,000 meters a.s.l., you will visit the most beautiful sites of Etna Park (founded in 1987), world Unesco heritage (since 2013).

• fascinating volcanic cave with speleologist helmets (included)
• the “dagale”, green islands sorrounded by the dark lava
• beautiful panoramic view and “pahoehoe” and “aa” lava fields
• renowned inactive craters located at 2.000 meters a.s.l. and volcanic sand slopes

RENTAL EQUIPMENT € 5 p.p.: to take part in our tours are required windproof jacket and protective boots (suitable to use on abrasive volcanic rock). ). If you think you haven’t the appropriate equipment adapt for the mountain, you can rent it for € 5 per person during online booking of the tour (to be paid to your guide the same day of the tour).

AVAILABLE LANGUAGES: English and Italian. On request, you can rent audioguide at € 10 for French, German, Spanish, Russian.

SKILLED GUIDES: sicilian tour leaders and nature guides experienced in the knowledge of Etna Park, geological and volcanic phenomena.

LICENSED VEHICLES: modern jeep / SUV equipped with 4 / 6 forward-facing seats and air conditioning system. Vehicles provided with all safety systems. All our vehicles are authorized to carry persons in accordance with the law in force (Transportation License N.C.C.).

It is not allowed to smoking, to eat or drink (except water) on board our vehicles in order to comply with the current legislation on public passenger transport.

BAGGAGE NOT ALLOWED:in our vehicles there is no space for luggage / suitcases to be carried on board during the tour. If you have luggage with you click here before booking online the tour to request a deposit service (to be paid).

It is however allowed to bring with you a small soft backpack (about 10 liters capacity) not to be left on board, but to always carry with you during the entire duration of the tour.

RECOMMENDED CLOTHING:  on Mt. Etna (at 2,000 meters a.s.l.) temperature, windiness and weather generally will vary rapidly, (even during the same day), so it is better to wear layered clothes; short / medium high socks, long / short trousers, cotton shirt or t-shirt, windproof jacket, sunglasses, tall and robust protective boots. In autumn and winter usually it is possible to find snow, so it is highly recommended to wear appropriate warm clothing.
